Hi Everyone,
If the winds are kicking up in New Mexico and the temperatures are on the rise, for the most part, it must be spring. If it’s spring, that means the month of June is very close. If June is close, then it must be time for Larry Bloomfield to bring his Taste of NAB Road Show back to the Duke City. And that’s exactly what’s going on. But this year, we’re doing things a little differently. Rather than make you chose between attending the Road Show or the NMBA Annual Convention, we’re combining them.
Friday, June 11th is the day. 12 noon is the time and the Marriot Uptown, at I-40 and Louisiana Blvd NE is the place. Larry has an impressive list of sponsors this year including Omneon, Utah Scientific, Digital Alert Systems and more. See Larry’s website for the complete list at http://www.tech-notes.tv/2010/2010-Sponsors.htm All you need to get in is a business card. If you don’t have one, Larry and his staff will have blanks so you can get in anyway. And yes, lunch will be included.
And if you can’t make Larry’s presentation on Friday, June 11th, you’ll have an extra day to see the sponsor’s exhibits and still catch some of the sessions at NMBA. Larry and his group of sponsors have generously agreed to stay in Albuquerque an extra day. They’ll be here on Saturday, June 12th as well. The exhibits will be open during NMBA.
This will give you an extra chance to see equipment you might have missed and have time to find out more about products you’re interested in. And since your GM will most likely be close by at one of the sessions, you can drag them over for a closer look at the things you need.
I hope you can join us for this year’s visit to Albuquerque by the Taste of NAB Road Show. If you’re planning to attend, drop me an email, please. If you decide to come at the last minute, no problem. Just show up and we’ll find a place for you to sit.
Thank you to Larry Bloomfield and his Taste of NAB Road Show sponsors for including Albuquerque in their itinerary this year. And extra thanks to Larry and NMBA’s Susan Wrons for working out the schedules so that Larry could join us for this year’s NMBA convention.
