Harris Broadcast will be hosting our first chapter meeting of the new year. On Thursday, February 28th, Sandi Shearer of Harris will be here to demonstrate and discuss their new Versio on-air automation system for TV. There will be lots of time for questions and discussion in addition to Sandi’s demo of Versio.
This exceptional technology combines all of the needed on-air elements, from sources to graphics to ID bugs, into one system that works equally well whether you’re broadcasting one channel or multiple streams.
SBE Chapter 34’s Annual Holiday Lunch is this coming Friday at 11:30am at Powdrell’s on 4th Street, just a few blocks south of Montano. We’ll have a brief preview of things to come for 2013, but the main agenda is to have a great lunch and catch up with each other.
Bring yourself, bring friends, and bring your appetite, but you can leave your checkbook in the car. Dan Giesler and the good folks at Giesler Broadcast Supply are buying lunch for everyone. All you have to do is send me a note that you’ll be there, then show up. And if it’s a last-minute thing, show up anyway. We’ll find you a chair.
Hi Everyone,
